Hi! I’m Katie and I’m the girl behind the camera.
On most days you can find me cuddled up and reading a book while munching on healthy snacks and on other days you could find me hiking up a mountain with my husband while snapping pictures of the incredible landscapes all around.
My forever adventure buddy is my husband, Alex and we document all of our travels and explorations on our blog. Currently, our home base is Portland, OR and the world is our oyster.
Five Fun Facts About Me:
- In 2017, we packed our backpacks and took off on a one year travel adventure around the world. We visited over 16 countries and had the time of our lives! We hiked, learned Spanish, ate delicious food, volunteered, got scuba certified, learned to ride horses, slept in a yurt and so much more!
- We bought a van and are working to build it out so that we can live and travel in it.
- In May 2020 we are expecting a baby girl to join us! So excited!
- I taught 4th grade for a few years before starting my photography business.
- I love sunshine, ice cream, hiking, exploring new places & being outdoors!

That One Adventure Photography
We believe in living life with adventure. To us that means exploring, hiking, trying new things, traveling, serving others, inspiring others, going on hikes, looking at the positive in everything and much more! We capture experiences with our camera and they become memories that we treasure and look back at with smiles on our faces.
“Remember that one adventure we went on in Kyrgyzstan when we trekked on horses for three days and slept in local yurts!” We want to capture those special adventures that will create memories for a lifetime!
